MARKETING INITIATIVES has a dedicated technical team with a wealth of experience working with major grocery manufacturers and UK retailers. We are able to use this experience to help our clients cope with the exacting demands of retail and food service customers and UK and EU legislation:
Factory Audit For Retail Private Label Approval
If a company is looking to supply a brand, a site audit is not necessary however it is likely that the customer will still require its quality certificate (IFS, BRC, ISO…) and social responsibility (SEDEX). In respect of Private Label or product for the server over counter, in addition to these quality certificates, a factory audit will be required.
MARKETING INITIATIVES’ technical team will guide its clients through the process and undertakes a pre-audit to the retailers’ protocols to maximise the chance to pass the retailer’s audit. We ensure that the factory and process controls are at the standards necessary to pass the inspection. These are then followed up by Internet management of audit report and any necessary corrective actions. To date we have a 100% record of success.
Online Product Specification (Brand & Private Label)
We will assist and guide in the submission of product specification through the retailer online databases such as M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose etc.
